We are delighted to announce that our chosen charity for 2022 is The Hospiscare 40 Club. 

Based in Exeter, Hospiscare are celebrating 40 years since Dr John Searle delivered a speech in front of hundreds of people at Exeter’s Guildhall, sparking the movement that would become the hospice charity, supporting people with a life-limiting illness, covering Exeter, Mid and East Devon

To celebrate this milestone, they have initiated an exclusive group of local businesses working together to raise money and help ensure their vital care continues for the years to come which we are very proud to be part of. 

The charity helps with people who have been diagnosed with any type of terminal illness, and supply expert doctors and nurses are to help. Their services include support at home, a specialist palliative care ward, out-patients clinics, and supportive therapies.

They support over 2,000 people each year, in some of the hardest times possible. As a local charity, they need to raise around £8 million a year to continue to provide care, relying on the generous support of local people and communities.

We will be running a Garden Charity Day alongside many other fundraising ideas so we look forward to receiving your help, throughout the year, in raising as much as possible for this wonderful cause.
